What is Asthma?

Asthma is a chronic respiratory condition that causes inflammation and narrowing of the airways. This results in difficulty breathing, wheezing, and coughing.

​When the airways become inflamed and swollen, they produce extra mucus, which can make breathing even harder. This can lead to episodes of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing.
